How much do the lessons cost?
What does my child need in order to watch a lesson?
Your child will need access to any internet-enabled device like a computer, tablet or smartphone that can access the WorksheetCloud Online Video Lesson website. Your device will also need data as all lessons are videos.
How much data will a lesson use?
About the same as watching any online video. Lessons are typically between 20 to 40 minutes in length.
Can I watch lessons at any time?
You sure can! Your child can watch lessons at any time, and in any order. We recommend sticking to a daily routine to ensure your child gets the most benefit from our lessons.
Can I download lessons to watch later?
Lessons cannot be downloaded. They are only available to stream on the WorksheetCloud Online Lessons site. But don’t worry, they’re not going away any time soon! So feel free to come back whenever you’re ready to learn.
Can my child ask questions during lessons?
We have setup a dedicated email address for each grade. Your child can email questions to the dedicated email address and our teachers will try to answer. Due to the volume of questions we cannot guarantee a response to your child’s questions, but our teachers will try their absolute best to help.
What happens if I experience a technical problem during a lesson?
Don’t stress if something goes wrong. Try refreshing your web browser a few times. If that does not work, feel free to get in touch with our support team and we’ll do our best to fix it for you.
What grades and subjects are available?
In Grades 1, 2 and 3 we offer lessons in English, Afrikaans and Mathematics / Wiskunde.
In Grades 4 we offer lessons in English, Afrikaans, Mathematics / Wiskunde and Natural Science / Natuurwetenskappe.
In Grades 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 we offer lessons in English, Mathematics and Natural Science.
When will you add more grades and subjects?
We do not currently have any plans to add additional grades or subjects.
What language is lessons presented in?
In Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 we present lessons in both the English and Afrikaans language.
In Grades 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 we present lessons in the English language only.
What curriculum is being taught in lessons?
Our teachers are covering the South African CAPS curriculum which is also suitable for IEB learners at this time.
How good are the teachers?
We have a number of teachers from schools around South Africa. All are handpicked by WorksheetCloud. Every teacher is fully qualified and has a minimum of 8 years teaching experience in South African classrooms.
Is my child safe during online lessons?
All our lessons are strictly controlled and monitored. Your child will remain completely anonymous during lessons and there is no way that anyone can contact your child during or after lessons. All content is delivered directly on our website, but nevertheless we always recommend that parents remain vigilant and stay aware of the websites that their children browse.
